Hey 👋 I'm Jarod Peachey.

I build cool websites using cool tech.

I'm a software engineer with experience building full-stack applications, modern websites and custom REST APIs. I have a passion for making websites that are as simple and easy to use as possible, without taking away from their functionality.

I specialize in serverless architecture, headless websites and the JAMstack. Every application I build is secure, high-performing and easy to maintain.

I've worked on all kinds of projects and sites, from large-scale SPA's, fully-custom APIs, and database integrations to small business websites, landing pages and blogs.

At We Vote, I was a front-end engineer responsible for implementing a complete redesign of the website.

I updated over 30,000 lines of legacy code and implemented several major new features, such as a friending and sharing system.

Glitter is a Twitter theme customization tool that allows users to create their own Twitter theme

It uses local storage to keep track of themes that a user creates and has potential to function on other sites in the future as well.

I built the website for my web development agency, Jelly Development. I used a clean, modern design with a simple font and colors.

I used Gatsby to generate the HTML from React, and deployed the site to Netlify.

At MindTrust, I was the main developer responsible for developing the new website based off of the designs from the design team.

I created a custom CSS framework and used SVG animations to make the site appealing to visitors. I also optimized the performance and accessibility.

React Tiny Grid is a grid system built for simplicity and ease of use.

I built React Tiny Grid to solve a problem I saw. There were no grid systems for React that weren't super complex and easy to use. I created this grid system to work out-of-the-box, with a few advanced configuration options.
